Lemniskata, Budivelnik club, Our People association and two-time NBA champion Stanislav Medvedenko held a charity basketball match. The Lemni team won, but the main thing here is the general help for the benefit of the future of Ukraine.
During the match, a charity fundraiser was organized, as well as a poster with the Budivelnyk champion team, signed by Stanislav Medvedenko and T-Fest basketball players, accessories with Ukrainian national symbols, were put up for auction.
All funds raised went to help temporarily displaced persons, which is provided in Kyiv by the humanitarian organization "Restorer. Potato Troops” by speaker Andriy Shevchenko, TV presenter Nikolai Vasilkov and restaurateur and blogger Dmitry Dubas.
The charity match took place on July 27 at Hala Sportowa Kolo in Warsaw. The game was attended by basketball players Vladimir Konev, Mikhail Anisimov, Yuri Kondrakov, Alexander Furs and Slava Medvedenko, as well as T-Fest, MAKRAE, BARZ, comedians Slava Komissarenko and Sergey Detkov.
“I hope that many more games will be played in the future and in this way we will help people in need,” Mikhail Anisimov, ex-center of the Budivelnik club, thanked the organizers. “It was an honor for me to meet and play with you, I got a bunch of bright emotions,” ex-forward of the club Alexander Furs also expressed his gratitude.
